Supplements are not my favorite thing, let's just start with that. But Ive learned to tolerate them because I know I will not get what I need from food sources alone. It is always better to be on the "safe" side of getting certain key vitamins, minerals, amino acids, etc in my opinion. I constantly work on my gut health, as my digestion is not the greatest.
You may not need all of the gut supplements, especially if you don't have issues.
This program alone will dramatically improve your digestion, and that may be enough.
If you have a blood test and know that you are deficient in certain things, then it is imperative you take action to try to correct those! Here is what I take every day.....btw, I am constantly researching supplements, and this will be updated as new information and supplements come out...
6 AM: Because I Intermittent fast, I take these first thing in the morning with my coffee. Coffee is made with monk fruit and cinnamon, btw! These supplements work better without food.
Probiotics. I take Seed probiotics because of the system they use to withstand heat and stomach acid.
Tributyrin. 1 capsule. This is a postbiotic that helps supply fuel to the large intestine. Gut health.
Methylated sublingual Vit B complex.
Testosterone gel on my arm.
2 PM: This is the time I break my fast. (I know this seams late, but that is the window my body responds to best!) These supplements work better with food, esp. Vit D.
Omega 3, 2,000 units
Vit D 5,000 units
Turmeric Berberine, Resveratrol antioxidant complex. 2 capsules. Anti-inflammatory and helps heal the gut.
Zinc L- Carnosine. 2 capsules. Liver, Gut, anti-inflammatory. needs to be taken with food.
10PM: Bedtime.
Hot herbal tea with 1 scoop L-Glutamine powder (gut health and immunity) + 1 scoop Immunoglobulin (gut health)
Magnesium complex. I use Magnesium Breakthrough. This supplement has 9 different forms of magnesium, each form works on a different part of the body.
CBD oil sublingual. Helps with relaxation, anti stress, and gut health.
Progesterone and estrogen. (I'm in the process of finding transdermal of each to move away from oral dosing)
Remember that not all supplements are appropriate for all people, especially if you are taking medications. Always ask your health care provider before taking supplements. These are my personal supplements that I take in order for me to improve my gut health, decrease inflammation, and support hormone and other functions in my body. These are not recommendations for everybody.
